In this program you will visit the most representative places of Peru. We will visit the 3 times crowned city of the Kings “Lima” which is the capital of Peru. We will visit the historical center of the city, its beautiful architecture, mansions, mansions and squares that are part of the history of the country.
We will continue visiting the coast of Peru, visiting one of the most important wildlife reserves in the country. The Paracas National Reserve and the Ballestas Islands.
We will visit Arequipa at the foot of the imposing snow-capped Misti volcano. The beautiful architecture made of volcanic stone and white salt stone honor the name of “The white city”. We will cross the valley of the volcanoes and pampa galeras where we will be able to appreciate all the high Andean fauna such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas in their wild state. Finally we will be able to visit one of the deepest and longest canyons in the world, the Colca Canyon. Here we will be able to meet and see the imposing high Andean condor, a beautiful bird of more than 3 meters long with an impressive black and white plumage, simply the King of the high Andean skies.
After this tour we will travel through the Andes to the city of Puno to visit the highest navigable lake in the world “Lake Titicaca” we will meet ancient nomadic communities such as the UROS who live on floating islands in the middle of the lake, as well as the residents of one of the islands in the lake, the island of Taquile. After all this experience we will board the train to the capital of the Inca empire “Cusco”.
As a way to rest from this great tour we will visit the jungle of Peru. Puerto Maldonado and Tambopata offer a great jungle experience. We will learn about the flora and fauna that the jungle has to offer. We will spend 2 nights in the middle of the jungle, full of day and night activities.
In Cusco we will appreciate its beautiful mix of Hispanic and Inca architecture, visit archaeological complexes lost in time but that show us the greatness of the Inca empire, to finally visit the jewel in the crown “Machu Picchu” one of the modern wonders of the world.
