In this program you will visit the most representative places of Peru.   We will visit the 3 times crowned city of the Kings “Lima” which is the capital of Peru. We will visit the historical center of the city, its beautiful architecture, mansions, mansions and squares that are part of the history of the country.

We will continue visiting the coast of Peru, visiting one of the most important wildlife reserves in the country. The Paracas National Reserve and the Ballestas Islands.

We will visit Arequipa at the foot of the imposing snow-capped Misti volcano. The beautiful architecture made of volcanic stone and white salt stone honor the name of “The white city”. We will cross the valley of the volcanoes and pampa galeras where we will be able to appreciate all the high Andean fauna such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas in their wild state. Finally we will be able to visit one of the deepest and longest canyons in the world, the Colca Canyon. Here we will be able to meet and see the imposing high Andean condor, a beautiful bird of more than 3 meters long with an impressive black and white plumage, simply the King of the high Andean skies.

After this tour we will travel through the Andes to the city of Puno to visit the highest navigable lake in the world “Lake Titicaca” we will meet ancient nomadic communities such as the UROS who live on floating islands in the middle of the lake, as well as the residents of one of the islands in the lake, the island of Taquile. After all this experience we will board the train to the capital of the Inca empire “Cusco”.

As a way to rest from this great tour we will visit the jungle of Peru. Puerto Maldonado and Tambopata offer a great jungle experience. We will learn about the flora and fauna that the jungle has to offer. We will spend 2 nights in the middle of the jungle, full of day and night activities.

In Cusco we will appreciate its beautiful mix of Hispanic and Inca architecture, visit archaeological complexes lost in time but that show us the greatness of the Inca empire, to finally visit the jewel in the crown “Machu Picchu” one of the modern wonders of the world. How the Incas came to build such a city on top of such rugged mountains?

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival to Lima city

Arrival in the city of Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Lima.

Day 2
Lima - Paracas

Early in the morning we will start our trip to Paracas, located 3 hours and a half from Lima. We will take a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, a place where we can see marine fauna such as sea lions, humbolt penguins and others. In the afternoon we will visit the huacachina oasis and spend the night in the city of Ica.

Day 3
Nazca

After breakfast we will start the tour on our way to Nazca to visit the enigmatic Nazca lines, which are drawings on the desert that can only be seen from above.
After flying over the Nazca lines we will return to the city of Nazca.

Day 4
City Tour Lima

In the morning we will have a wonderful city tour of Lima and learn about its history. We will visit museums and churches. Inc. lunch.

Day 5
Arequipa

We will take the flight to the city of Arequipa. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon City tour

Day 6
Colca Valley

Very early in the morning we will start the trip to the Colca Canyon and we will pass by the highest point at 4950 masl at a point called “Mirador de los Volcanes” (viewpoint of the volcanoes). Overnight in the Colca.

Day 7
Cruz del Condor

One of the reasons to come to the Colca Valley is to see the imposing Andean condor and its majestic flight. This great bird lives in the Colca Canyon and in some cases measures more than 3 meters.
Transfer to the city of Puno and Overnight.

Day 8
Puno City

Today we will visit the highest navigable lake in the world. We will meet the communities that live there such as the Uros, who live on artificial floating islands made of totora reeds. Finally we will visit the island of Taquile where we will have lunch.
Return and overnight in Puno.

Day 9
Andean Train

In the morning we will board the train to the city of Cusco. Lunch and folkloric show aboard the train.
Arrival to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10
Day at leisure

Free morning to rest and in the evening transfer to Puerto Maldonado.

Day 11
Tambopata

Arrival at Puerto Maldonado and transfer by boat to the lodge.
In the afternoon we will do activities in the jungle.

Day 12
Tambopata

Today we will visit native communities and fish for piranhas. We will learn more about the flora and fauna of the rainforest as well as its importance to the world.

Day 13
Cusco

We will do more activities in the morning and in the afternoon we will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado and return to Cusco.

Day 14
City Tour Cusco

Free morning for rest.
In the afternoon city tour of Cusco and visit to the archaeological complexes.

Day 15
Sacred Valley

Today we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Pisac, Urubamba, Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo. Return to the city of Cusco (Inc. buffet lunch).

Day 16
Machu Picchu

The most awaited day has arrived. Early transfer to the train station to board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Tour to the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu.
In the afternoon return to the city of Cusco and overnight.

Day 17
Time to say good bye

After this wonderful tour it is time to say, see you soon.
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima and assistance in Lima for your connection to your international flight.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

We have transportation equipped with charging points for laptops and cell phones. In the same way, every night we arrive at accessible hotels with rooms specially adapted for wheelchairs and with all the amenities.

Can I find ATM's during the tour?

Yes, of course! ATM’s can be found in all the cities we visit. Apart from this, all credit cards are welcome and you can use them without any problems.

What about internet access?

In Peru we currently have 5G connectivity. But it should be understood that in some remote areas of the cities the signal could reach up to 3.5G but we can always count on the WIFI of the hotels.

How is the weather?

On the coast in general as the city of Lima between December and April we have a very hot and humid climate as we are in summer. In the highlands of Peru as Arequipa, Puno and Cusco from October to March we have rainy season and from April to September we have dry season being the months of June and July time of frost with temperatures dropping to -3 °.
