Terms and Conditions Accessible Travel Peru

1. Introduction
Welcome to Accessible Travel Peru, an online travel agency (OTA) specializing in accessible travel operating in Peru. By using our services and making a reservation, you immediately ACCEPT the following terms and conditions, which describe your rights and responsibilities as a client. It is important that you read this document carefully before making a reservation.

2. Reserves
2.1 Reservation Procedure:
Reservations must be made through our official channels: website, telephone or e-mail.
To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 20% of the total cost of the trip is required. This deposit secures your place and is a sign of commitment with the hiring of our services.
2.2 Confirmation of Reservation:
Once we receive your reservation request and deposit, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details of your trip.

3. No Refund Policy
3.1 General Conditions of Non-Refundability:
Payments made for reservations are non-refundable, unless the cancellation is made at least 20 days prior to the start date of the trip by e-mail to the following address contact@accessibletravelperu.com. After this period, no refund requests will be accepted, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
3.2 Substantiation for Non-Refund Policy:
Preparations and Expenses: Upon confirming your reservation, we immediately begin logistical preparations, which include contracting suppliers, guides, transportation, lodging, and other necessary services. These commitments generate costs that are not recoverable.
Third Party Contracts Policy: The agency works with suppliers who have their own cancellation and non-refundable payment policies. This means that, upon cancellation of your trip, we cannot recover payments already made to these third parties.
Personalized Planning: Many of our trips are designed specifically for each client, which implies a high degree of customization. Cancellation less than 20 days before the trip compromises the work done and the resources allocated.

4. Modifications and Cancellations
4.1 Modifications by the Customer:
Any requests for changes must be made at least 20 days prior to the start of the trip. We will try to accommodate changes as much as possible, but we do not guarantee that all requests can be honored.
Depending on the nature of the change, additional charges may apply.
4.2 Cancellation by the Customer:
If cancellation is made at least 20 days prior to travel, the customer will be entitled to a partial refund, less applicable administrative and cancellation fees.
Cancellations made after this period will not be refunded.
4.3 Cancellation by the Agency:
We reserve the right to cancel the trip in case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, political conflicts, pandemics, etc.) or any other circumstance that makes the execution of the trip impossible. In such a case, the client will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule the trip.

5. Client’s Responsibility
5.1 Documentation:
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all necessary documentation for the trip, including valid passports, visas, entry permits, and any other required documents.
5.2 Insurance:
It is strongly recommended that the client purchase travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other possible inconveniences during the trip.

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Third Party Services:
The agency shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm caused by services provided by third parties (hotels, tour operators, carriers, etc.).
6.2 Unexpected Circumstances:
We will not be responsible for changes in itineraries or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, strikes, social conflicts, or any other force majeure situation.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of the city of Lima.
